IMI was built on Trust, Honor & Respect, three things most companies today have thrown out the window. Since the turn of the century we have been more cautious on what we buy and from whom we buy it from. The Federal & Local Governments have been paying close attention to what is going on with Energy Efficient products and the contractors who put them in. With the rising accusations of fraudulent contractors and shoddy craftsmanship, you as the homeowner need to make the right choices. Here in Minnesota contractors are required to have a “Minnesota State Contractors License”. With this license comes protection by the state with a fund to compensate customers from fraud or poor craftsmanship. So make sure your contractor has this number.
Anything you buy is only as good as the person who puts it in. You can purchase 50K of new doors and windows, but if they are installed wrong they’re worthless. Here at IMI we make it our business to know the proper installation methods for your homes exterior products. We go that extra mile that others seem to avoid. All of our installers must pass a criminal background check (done by a professional service specializing in background research) and our own demanding criteria. Ounce they’ve past these then they must work with our senior crews until they are deemed ready. We want you to feel comfortable and trusting with the installers we send to your home.
Our goal is to make sure your happy with every job we do. If anything at all makes you feel uncomfortable. Please call us, you have my word, that I will personally take care of it myself. We use local manufacturers so we can offer the best in turn around and service. The lowest bid isn’t always the best choice. If you want good work done with good products it sometimes costs you more than the lowest bid. So take the time to know what your getting for your money. It really pays off in the end.
